Open Position: Certified Montessori Toddler Teacher (January 2024)

Job Qualifications: 

• Minimum of an associate's degree, AMS/AMI, or a MACTE-accredited training certificate.

• Prior experience working in a licensed childcare facility, preferably a Montessori school 

• Familiarity and compliance with WA state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience

• A strong commitment to the authentic Montessori method and philosophy

Responsibilities:

• The teacher will be responsible for delivering an authentic Montessori program, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and respect among children

• Make a positive impact on children's education and development

• Supervise and manage the classroom, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment for children

• Foster independence, critical thinking, and self-esteem in children

• Maintain open communication with parents, regularly reporting on children's progress

• Adhere to licensing guidelines and follow company standards for childcare

• Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive and enriching educational experience

• Attend and participate in staff meetings, training, school events, and professional development sessions
