Core Curriculum

When a child is given a little leeway, he will at once shout, “I want to do it!” But in our schools, which have an environment adapted to children’s needs, they say, “Help me to do it alone.” And these words reveal their inner needs.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

Our evidence and research-based social-emotional learning helps students build social-emotional skills—like nurturing positive relationships, managing emotions, friendship skills, and setting goals—so they can thrive in school and in life. The systematic SEL curriculum also helps children develop executive function skills (attention, memory, and inhibitory control)which are not only predictive of school readiness but are essential for success in and outside the classroom, and our multi-age classroom (3-year cycle) allows students to apply the learned SEL skills in reality.

In our Bilingual Montessori class, the prevailing language spoken throughout the day is Mandarin. This allows children to increase language proficiency and cross-cultural awareness.

In our English Montessori class, while being acutely aware of each child’s capabilities and focus on advanced methodologies of the Montessori philosophies.

Natural Based Education

We believe that the natural world is an exceptional classroom to inspire wonder, independent learning, and critical thinking. Our campus provides a unique natural setting with a spacious garden, and a tranquil natural trail area that provides the opportunity to harness our landscape as a primary teaching resource for our students. Working and playing in natural environments is universally preferred for children as it provides rich experiences while increasing a child’s motor skills, collaboration, and creativity. These same children have a greater ability to concentrate, act autonomously, and buffer life stresses.
